These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Proclaiming Praise website (proclaimingpraise.org) and volunteer portal (portal.proclaimingpraise.org), operated by Proclaiming Praise, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By using our site, portal, or messaging program, you agree to these Terms.
Use of our services
Our volunteer portal is provided to invited, credentialed volunteer worship leaders and to Proclaiming Praise staff. You agree to use it only for its intended purpose — coordinating and documenting worship visits — and to keep your login credentials secure. Access is by invitation only and may be suspended or revoked at our discretion.
SMS / text messaging program terms
The following terms apply to our SMS text messaging program:
- Program description. Proclaiming Praise sends invited volunteers notifications and reminders about worship-visit opportunities (for example, new opportunity alerts and 24-hour and 1-hour visit reminders).
- How to opt in. You opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages during your invitation-based account activation at portal.proclaimingpraise.org. There is no public sign-up.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on worship-visit activity.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier's plan. Proclaiming Praise does not charge for these messages.
- Opt out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending SMS messages. You may opt back in by contacting us or re-enabling SMS in your portal profile.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or email info@proclaimingpraise.org.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are used only to deliver these messages and are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Volunteer conduct and content
Volunteers agree to follow Proclaiming Praise's guidelines and any partner-facility requirements, to respect patient privacy at all times, and never to record patient names or clinical details in the portal. Visit information is limited to patient initials and a care unit.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proclaiming Praise is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, portal, or messaging program.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
